The mission of EqAid is to collect riding clothes, various equipment, and tack. EqAid will then donate these items to one of our partnered equine centers. EqAid, as a newly established 501(c)(3) organization, focuses on collecting donations through equestrian events, strategically placing donation drop-off centers at USEF-rated hunter-jumper horse shows nationwide. Volunteers stationed at these events collect used or new equestrian gear, offering donors convenient contribution options along with necessary tax deduction documentation. The organization welcomes donations ranging from breeches to grooming supplies, aiming to repurpose surplus equestrian items for the benefit of fellow horse lovers. Not only does this program back a worthy cause, but it also supports environmental sustainability by recycling gear. EqAid's specific emphasis on directing donations towards horse retirement, recovery, and therapeutic riding facilities demonstrates our aim for positive change within the equestrian community.
